To some people Bones and Rainy are forever saddled with the challenge of following Hear Nothing See Nothing Say Nothing. Let me tell you - End Of Days is a mighty album by any standards. Of course it can't have the shock of the new, and it's very hard for anyone to be genre-defining nowadays, but they've done all that already. With Tezz back and making it a dual guitar attack the sound has the muscularity of metal and Dave Bridgwood propels the pace like a man breathing pure oxygen. Perhaps most pleasing, new vocalist JJ really seems to fit, creating a chemistry that takes them back to being more than the sum of their parts. Hints of early '80s Motorhead, Slayer and Metallica blended into Stoke hardcore. Open your minds to it.
