Just a nice alternative to the classic original versions. I honestly liked it and enjoyed it. The dance version of quando worked well on the dance floor for all ages. Just a fun album.

I bought this for my mum who is a big Engelbert fan. The songs are mainly reworkings of his previous hits brought up to date with new arrangements and a drum and bass disco beat. Certainly different and whilst it may not appeal to purists it works in a corny sort of way. I had the pleasure of seeing him at the London Palladium in December 2007 and at the age of 71 but looking twenty years younger the man still delivers a powerful performance with all the class, elegance and fun his loyal fans love. As a performer he keeps abreast of musical trends and so I think this work represents a desire to remain credible and appeal to new audiences. I would not recommend this album as a replacement to the original Decca recordings, but as a supplement to an existing Engelbert collection it's a treat.
I brought it as im a humpy fan, also not got this cd,although many of the songs on other cd's,but not in this style. It is very different to his usuall style, needs listening to a few times! One to get use to the pace and also the background music sound!Still a good cd overall to add to my collection..kaz
This is really a great Album by Englebert - different from the more sentimental and romantic albums of his. I love the English and Spanish versions of Quando, Quando,Quando, especially. Overall an enjoyable album.
I was not expecting a disco version, would prefer the original versions
