The delivery was quick.I fit the fan myself and found the instructions very clear to understand. I was surprised at how quiet it was compared to other fan's I have fitted.there was one small snag the fixing holes in each corner where positioned slightly different to the fan I was replacing in the past it was a straight swop fitting this fan just took a little bit longer I was very pleased with the result. I did need to touch up the paint work around the finished job.the next fan I fix will definitely be one of these.

Difficult to fit if you have existing screw holes that don't exactly match. Other manufacturers (like Manrose) have an arc rather than a hole for some of the screws to allow for some adjustment when fitting. The fan itself seems good quality and is relatively quiet in operation. The back draught shutter is just a piece of plastic which I almost threw away. It doesn't look like it will be of much use to prevent back draughts but I can't tell for sure yet. The cover is a push fit which makes getting to the screw to adjust the timer very straightforward.

This is my second Envirovent extractor fan, this time with a run-on timer for an internal WC room. It replaced a noisy traditional fan and the difference is immediately obvious. The Envirovent fans are inherently quiet, plus they do not reverberate through plasterboard ceiling panels, unlike some other designs. As it replaced a previous fan, it was very simple to install, and just slotted right in to the existing ceiling opening and ventilation tube. All fixings are supplied too, including screws and wall-plugs. The design and build quality is good. The installation instructions are very clear, and the unit even comes with a tool to adjust the run-on time if needed. My unit was already preset to one minute. Very satisfied and would highly recommend.

Bought this Zone 1 fan as it is rated quietest on the market. I researched the market carefully as I needed a replacement fan for a shower/cloakroom. Nothing really wrong with the old Addvent one but we have been redecorating and refurbish the room. What was important was the cable feed needed to be top left side of the fan to correspond with existing cabling. I checked this carefully on line, even getting an image of the fan without the cover on so I could see the wiring set up. When it arrived the cable feed was bottom left! So I have had to make changes to my working to accommodate the differences. When I looked closely I see the original image I had showed a 2017 date on it but the item sent was dated 2016. Don't know if the wiring setup changed during this period but keep it in mind. Other issue is the back draft - there is a flimsy piece of plastic at the end of the housing which opens and closes when the fan is turned on. Frankly it is not very effective and I could easily see someone thinking it was packaging and removing it! Having said all this the fan seems to work fine and I am overall happy with it. It is certainly quiet.Read full review
