Bought this printer on recommendation of a friend. Inks are much cheaper than the Lexmark I was using. The thing I dislike is the fact it is so noisey and sometimes has trouble feeding photo paper , it will take 2 sheets together. If the inks were cheaper on the Lexmark I would have stuck with it. Only reason I will stick with this is the cheapness of the inks as I do a lot of printing.
I shall not go into great detail about the technical aspect of the printer. What I shall say is that it is simplicity itself to install. Furtermore this model is cheap to run. Compatable cartridges can be purchased for under £6.The results both on text printing & photo reproduction is good. Scanning is no problem whatsoever. I dis find the printing direct to C.D/D.V.D'S very useful & simplicity itself to use.Speed of print is acceptable. All the functions of this model are displayed on a small screen. I encountered no problems whatsoever. In conclusion if you require a good cheap all round printer, cheap to run this is the one for you.
I have always used Epson printers as I find them to be the best around and this model is no different. I upgraded to px720wd from the rx585 and was amazed at how much they had improved on everything the rx585 had to offer. If you need the cd print option, this model is excellent. No fuss, and no tray to load. My only gripe is that the loading tray is below the print heads and not at the back, as I find certain types of paper struggles to load without assistance. overall, I am very happy with this printer and would recommend it to anyone who appreciates speed and quality of print.
got this printer to replace my hp photosmart printer photo print quality is brilliant a lot better than my old printer ink usage not bad you can get ink very cheap it prints very fast and it was very easey to set up a child could do it i would recommend this printer to any body but on first set up you have to run the printer head clean about 5 times b4 you get top class quality photo prints this will use your first set of inks very fast but once its working ink usage settles down and its a brilliant all round printer
I bought this product due to the high quality prints epson printers produce and because of the on board wireless connectivity. Printing to CD's was a bonus I thought I couldn't afford. This printer also supports 3rd party continuous ink systems a feature I was aiming for. The worst feature of all epson printers is that the print head is not replaceable and has to be looked after so it doesn't dry up in summer months.
