I like the structure of the books layout. Have seen this guy on YouTube and he knows his stuff.

I prefer to learn all things ARDUINO by watching You-Tube videos, then follow up by further reading & printing specific articles, with added notes, for my personal reference library. I have downloaded all Jeremy's videos to my iPad & bought the book as a handy ready reference to the videos, also good for studying or refreshing when I have time to kill e.g. Airport coffee lounge, in bed during rainy nights, sitting in the porch etc. Very much like the style of writing, i.e. typical Jeremy Blum Lectures!, to the point, very detailed, no waffle or unnecessary repetition & practical applications. Would have given a 6 out of 5 rating! if; an e-book or PDF version was included (to add to my iPad) and/or there was a hardback full colour version, I know colour diagrams are available on the net but that's not always convenient or practical. Would like see more (hard back) books with included DVD for video, colour diagrams, sketches etc. (web articles go out of date quickly & can't be accessed when the net or your computer is down). More advanced examples. What about a series, with each book covering specific topics e.g. PWM, Comms, GPS, sensors, programming etc. All in all an excellent first effort!Read full review
