I'd never purchased a training aid before as I've always thought a lot of them seem a bit gimmicky. Whilst its a bit pricey the speed trap is excellent. It really focuses you on swing path and ball striking. It takes a bit of getting use to but it does work. Cant say I noticed a huge difference in length of shots but definitely helps to straighten you up and improve ball striking. I've also found that it helps me to find a better tempo by slowing my swing down and making me think about the swing instead of lashing at the ball. Its extremely robust and can take a lot of punishment, it also comes in its own bag which is useful as there are five pieces to it. I would highly recommend the speed trap.

This is a well-made training device. The plastic board is of real value, the velcro-mounted guidance pegs are less so. Since swing paths are all a bit individual (aka Jim Furyk), this device might groove one type of swing to the detriment of the person's natural swing path. But, the board is great for practicing ball/turf contact, and also for chips and pitches. It might also work well for putting practice but haven't tried it yet. Would recommend, but a bit pricey really for just a good plastic board.

For someone who has struggled with all three of the above - this product gives instant feedback (by accidentally hitting red sponge gates or oops ...hitting plastic) on where I have been going wrong. Understanding what a pro says is easy ... practising it time after time after time when he's gone is now achievable via the SpeedTrap! I love it!
