As the reviews already told me, this is a lovely book to read, with a lot of excellent recipes. The author has a generosity of spirit that comes through in the text. Where things can be substituted in a recipe, he informs us, and when things cannot be tampered with, he informs us politely. I tend to find that some cookery writers and Celebrity chefs want us to believe that we can never aspire to their level, whereas some want to say that it’s easy if you follow their methods. This writer is clearly in the latter category. Excellent book.
