the film was great, i have seenit on tv once and decided i would like to own it as sometimes i watch the best ones several times, and this is one of the good ones, kept me on the edge of my seat yet again
Harrison Ford's Film career went off with a BANG, with the likes of: Star Wars, Blade Runner my favourite the Indiana Jones films. The only recent decent film has been the Fugitive. And that is why i think he choose this script as it runs along the same lines. He plays Jack Stanfield a I.T expert at a Bank, and his family are held hostage untill he helps them pull off a heist for $100 million. Once again Paul Bettany (Da Vinci Code ) plays the villain as the Crime mastermind. I bought this from the shops with High hopes, but was let down Slightly with the whole film and wished i picked it up cheap on E-Bay instead of paying full price. Do not get me wrong, its worth a watch but a bet you will sell it on which is no bad thing.
Jack Stanfield (Harrison Ford) is an average family man in Seattle who heads up the hi-tech security team at his local bank. But following a seemingly trivial case of identity theft, Jack's life is turned upside-down when he discovers that his wife (Virginia Madsen) and two kids have been kidnapped. The ransom? A mere $100 million, which the kidnappers, led by Bill Cox (Paul Bettany), want Jack to obtain for them via his expert computer skills. Initially compliant, Jack is soon irked by Cox and his cronies to the point where he decides to risk everything to get his family back and bring the bad guys to justice...
