Classic Floyd cookbook to accompany his 1980s TV series. Plenty of classic French country cooking; some simple, some less so. Very much a product of its time, and all the better for it; it's not about Floyd, it's about food. Some of the instructions are brief to say the least and you're expected to know the basics of cooking, but there's plenty of inspiration and a few reasonable colour photos to illustrate some of the dishes. I suggest you buy this and old copies of 'Floyd on Fish' and 'Floyd on Britain & Ireland' (both also 1980s BBC books in the same format) and you'll have a really useful and enjoyable Floyd library for just a few pounds.
