This little fix for the common problem of the clutch master push rod slipping off the pedal peg. I had a clicking noise from the pedal area and when investigated was quite surprised to see the push rod almost becoming detached from the pedal peg and also bending at an angle that would have caused it to snap if left to do so. I looked on line and to my pleasant surprise this kit was readily available, easy to fit and quick. No more worrying about it coming off , would highly recommend even if its not playing up. 5 stars.

This item for just over £3 was the best £3 I've spent for a long time it fixed a problem I had with loss of clutch/play in the clutch pedal the reason is the clip that holds the clutch assemble to the pedal shaft comes off this is a well know ford fiesta issue and causes play in the clutch pedal and if you really unlucky total loss of clutch as assemble detached it self completely, this item you put the small washer onto the clutch shaft and push fully home so no play in clutch assemble and clutch shaft then push collar on clutch shaft and then tighten up grub screw and you now have your clutch back with no play in clutch pedal absolutely brilliant peace of kit issue solved for just over £3.

Original clip kept coming off. Repair centre manager recommended this item to me, even showing me item on here!! Was so easy to fit, took all of 5 minutes. Hardest part is getting into the footwell. Daughter is really happy now

This Repair Clip has so far been a Great! Clutch/Clip Fix for my Dads Fiesta. I previously bought the Ford Original Washer and it came off again within a day or two and when it comes off it is pretty scary. Buy this and as a backup secure with a cable tie... Thank-you :-)

Follow clutch pedal upwards, you'll find a rod that slicks out sideways on the left side. The master cylinder should be connected to this, but it can slip off (meaning no pressure in pedal) if the securing ring has broken (common) Slip it back on and (lying half out of the car) fit washer then the metal ring and tighten with allen key provided. About 3 mins work.
