It is a bit more than I wanted to be honest. I just wanted a reference book so that I could learn more french verbs. The verbs are covered very well and I have found it very useful for that. However, the index isn't the easiest to use as it directs you to a chapter rather than a page number which means you end up looking through all the exercises before you find the information needed. I think the exercises would be better placed at the back of the book to avoid cluttering the actual lessons. Also watch out when buying a used book, mine had some of the exercises already completed. I'd buy a new one or one that states the exercises haven't already been done.
