Hitchcock at his best. The film may at first appear dated, but this does nothing to detract from its brilliant direction, its great storyline, and as always in his films,Hichcock's added touch of humour, nicely balanced with a thrilling and at times violent story.

I remember seeing this film in my teenage years and had not seen it since the late 1970's. whilst it is not as iconic as some other Hitchcock greats it certainly captures the social history of London in the 70's and is well worth watching. Iconic shots of Covent Garden as it was are excellent.
