Small - Simple - Just Works out the box Windows 10 - Linux - FreeBSD
Need console access to an Ardunio? Cubieboard? BannanaPI? Beaglebone Black? or RaspPI. This USB - Serial adaptor (3 or 5v jumper) just works, no driver disk needed, plug into Windows 10 machine COM port appears, plug into Linux or FreeBSD box and serial device appears in /dev Great for debugging operation system installs on devices like the RaspPI or Cubieboards.

Just works, no issues. Ideal for Arduino Pro Micro.
Perfect for the Arduino Pro Mini as it connects directly to it. Some clone minis have reversed pinout! Also used with other devices not fitted with usb programming port. Jumper option for 5V or 3.3V. LED's to indicate comms port status and traffic. Comms port visible in Windows 10, had no issues.

Has a voltage jumper - no soldering. Mini USB is useful rather and having device plugged into board - can have it nearer to Arduino board.
