Without doubt the easiest and most versatile digital camera I have owned. This one is a successor to one that was stolen and one I lost on holiday. Autofocus is excellent, Image stability also excellent. Lowlight performance is brilliant, Easy to handle. Value amazing.

The camera was as good as new.The only thing was I could not track the parcel from Romania to Tanzania.
When I took my newly purchased Fuji camera to my local club, one of the old boys saw it and wanted one the same. He thought it looked easy to handle, had just a few basic function buttons which were large enough to see and it had a goodsized screen for capturing image. It hasn't a view finder to use in very sunny conditions when you can't see the image on the screen. I thought I had bought mine for a good price from ebay, less than £100 including postage and packing, but when I looked for him, I managed to get the camera + p&p for £73! Both are refurbished, but came in boxes with loads of wires and adaptors for downloading images and charging battery. The batteries are brilliant, holding loads of charge. My camera came with a handbook manual but his manual came in CD form. This was a nuisance because he hasn't got a computer so I had to give him my hard copy. I think he'll find that this camera does more than he realises. It takes short video clips as well as having a macro function for close up stills. It was value for money at ebay prices.Read full review
Easily rechargeable battery is a good idea (unless it runs flat when you're out and about - you can't just buy a few AAAs and stuff them in!) but it runs for ages: much longer than traditional batteries. Pictures are big and clear and you get anti-shake control, automatic light adjustment/flash, anti-red eye, auto-focus - or you can turn these off and set the camera up manually. The zoom is very good, re-focusing quickly and the speed-shot options captures moving images really well with no blurring. On the downside, it uses XD rather than SD cards, so I needed to use a separate card reader to get at my pictures but other than that, I think it's a brilliant digital camera. Oh, and the menus on mine are all in Chinese/Japanese, but there's always one option labelled OK so you know which one to select!Read full review
