This card was more money than I'd hope to pay for it but then there is a global chip and graphics card shortage during lock-down which has artificially inflated prices. The GTX 1080 was easy to install and set-up. It's a full length card and I had to shuffle my two SSD cards and DVD/CD read/writer to different slots to move various cables out of the way to make room for it. It's about the highest spec'd card that will operate comfortably with my 600W PC power supply - since a minimum of 500W was recommended. The card is fairly quiet and I've no complaints about it's performance which is light-years ahead of my old basic graphic card that came with the PC.

With a reasonably modern processor and 16GB of RAM... you can play just about any game on the highest settings, getting at least 60fps, often 80+ depending on the game. For the small difference in performance between the RTX 2070 (£530), versus the price of a used, but good condition 1080 (£320)... it’s a no brainer

Absolute beast of a card easily runs any game I've thrown at it at 1080p at over 100fps and editing/rendering is a treat with this card anyone running an older gpu gtx 9 series etc will be more then impressed at the power of this card

It runs everything I throw at it on ultra detail. Even in VR. It's brilliant.
