The Gtech is ideal for someone like me who will go on a family bike ride but wouldn’t dream of commuting the round trip of 16 miles into work. I desperately need to get fitter in my forties but I don’t want to take away time from my daughter so I need to incorporate exercise in my daily routine. The Gtech gives me confidence that I will be able to commute into work on it. In eco mode it generally helps you maintain 15 miles/hour and power mode gives you an extra boost to get up hills. I find it still feels like a workout but it makes the commute do-able. I love it, the frame is a perfect size for me (5ft 6inch) the seat is comfortable, and the handle bar height perfect. It’s a refurbished bike however mine looked like it had come straight out of the box. I test rode one in a shop before I purchased and this seems to be a slighter older battery version, however I like this more as the eco mode feels like more of a work out and you can really tell the difference in power mode. Whereas with the one I test rode I couldn’t see a difference. I have had it a week and I have done 40 km on it, amazing! For me there is no negatives with this bike however if you are a cycling enthusiast you may miss gears as this has none.My husband tried it but felt it was slightly too small for him (5ft 9), however I cannot recommend this enough.Read full review

It’s called ‘cheating’ by the serious bikers but for those of us that likes getting out and about on a bike and/or we’re not quite as fit as we ought to be, this product is a MUST. It doesn’t peddle for you but it helps you up those nasty inclines that can put most enthusiasts off going out again. It’s a powerful piece of kit and to call it a refurb is a vast understatement! It’s virtually brand new!! To me, it simply allows me to get out and bike as I normally would but extends my endurance and enthusiasm. No more steep hill dreads; just press the button and it’s as though someone is giving you a shove. You can then switch off the motor and concentrate on increasing your fitness and stamina. I’ve done both in just two weeks and I’m loving it. I’ve still got my push bike and I’m finding myself getting fitter to not be scared of taking that one out again. The e bike is a wonderful phenomenon and I’d recommend it to anyone. It’s superb value for money and the overall package and quality is first class. Get one before the ‘refurbs’ get snapped up!Read full review

I'm not going into huge detail but suffice to say that the Gtech ebike makes cycling easy and takes sting out of those pesky hills. The bike is refurbished but looks and feels brand new. The only thing that is cut down is the price. Highly recommended if you're looking for an electric bike.

Excellent electric bicycle. No complicated gears or throttle control and no messy chain to deal with. The construction and quality of materials are superb, making the bike easy to handle and transport. The battery is easily detachable, which makes the bike much lighter to lift into/onto a vehicle. Expensive ???? - yes, but well worth it.
