Seen a few reviews on here that are inline with my experience, but overall I will be buying another one of these. Well priced and does the task of sturdy storage in my garage very well indeed. - I would not trust the full weight specification promoted in the ad, but mine currently hasgood portion of my tools sitting on it easily. Realistically you're never going to have 150kg of weight in a footprint the size of the shelves amyway, but they are sturdy! - You WILL need tools, the powder coating on the frames makes it a very tight fit, I used a flat head screw driver to gently open the slots and bend the tabs and also a hammer through a sponge (gently) to pursade into place. The instructions recommend a rubber mallet if you can find yours.. Once you get the nack of prepping and sliding the tabs into place, you don't need to swear as much. But for less than £25 you can't shake your Tic Tacs at this, I would recommend these but advise patience with assembly.Read full review

once set up it is an ok set of shelving. the problem is setting it up, I will admit I have no faith that this product will hold the weight limit it specifies due to the assembly problems. assembly was a nightmare, I figured it would be simple as the product requires no tools, it all just slots together. I ordered 2 of these units and neither set of shelving fitted together easily, not one single part was easy to put together. eventually when I figured no parts were going to go together easy I applied pressure with my bare hands and bent the frame work. ye industrial shelving buckling under slight pressure while being assembled. I ended up having to get a hammer and straightening out most of the parts. after 6 hours of hell I finally got them set up. I'm having trouble believing I was just unfortunate enough to have 2 badly made units since I have seen reviews for this product that said it was simple and effortless assembly with positive reviews for quality and value. was going to get another 2, but after last time I figure I will look for units that require tools for assembly, less ball ache that way.Read full review

Bought these after sending back some ScrewFix shelves - bought at £75 each! These went together really easy. Just be patient when tapping them together with a mallet, just make sure the tab slides into both sections. Once you have built one shelf, you get the hang of it - no problem! Just make sure to tell them if you want the black shelves - as there is a choice of Black or Green, and they can dispatch either if you don't tell them. Overall - well happy & would def buy again - no question.

This unit started out easy enough to assemble, but on one upright bar, the slotting of the protruding bit didn't have enough clearance to push the other section down, so had to spend some time with a chisel and hammer to try and extend it. It easily comes apart at the bottom as you go to assemble the rest. When trying to push down on one of the mdf boards to push the support bar in, a hole was made by my hand. Quite weak boarding, though ok once their in and you have items on the shelves. The instructions advise you to add the shelves after assembly, but if there isn't enough clearance to drop them in at the angle required, so best to add the shelves as you go along from the bottom up. Otherwise, its a semi-decent storage shelf.

This review is for the 5 tier heavy duty boltless metal shelving unit sold by ukmart365. This product was a bit more expensive than some of the other similar products on sale, but the reviews also seemed to be generally a lot better, so I chose to pay the extra. The items had all been put in the box together without anything to prevent the shelves from banging against other parts in transit, so a couple of small chunks had been knocked out of the shelves. When I looked at the parts, I could see that one of the short support bars was a bit misshapen, so the shelf would be slightly lifted up at one end. There were also some sharp bits, and some damaged paint where one piece had been put on another before the paint was dry. I was prepared to live with all those flaws, rather than trying to return an item weighing in excess of 11kg (I have no car), so I checked that all the bits were there and started to put it together. The bottom part all went together just fine, with a bit of fairly gentle hammering. However, trying to slot the upper uprights into the lower ones proved impossible for me. It looked as though the studs weren't positioned correctly, so I asked a friend to take a look. He managed to get the first three to slot in, with some help from a heavy hammer. The fourth upright didn't fit properly, and had to be hammered so hard & long to force it in that the top bent out of shape. It was impossible to fit the last one of the short support parts, even after hammering the upright as close to shape as possible.Read full review
