I got this replacement rubber after measuring the old broken rubber tube on my vintage Barnett slingshot. 5mm Internal Diameter (ID), and 8mm Overall Diameter (OD). That is what the Dankung 5080 measurements are too, so it was a perfect replacement. Seeing that the experts on YouTube used alcohol / ethanol to make the rubber slippery, I did the same. I made the same fastening method to the leather pouch as the original by making a small cut on one side 10mm from the end and pulling the other end through the hole using a strong nylon string tied to the other end. Nice and tidy. I then removed the string, and dipped the other ends in alcohol for 10 seconds or so before sliding it on to the plastic & metal fitting attached to the slingshot. I'll apply some silicon grease to the rubber to make it last as long as possible. (ArmourAll can also be used but it is not available at my current location.)Read full review

I bought this product to cut into short lengths to replace the perished O ring seals in my carpet cleaner when the manufacturer was unable to supply and didn't know anywhere that might. The tubing is exactly the right inside and outside diameters and works perfectly for this purpose.

Could be a little stronger but good for the price . would be better sold by the foot as it was too long to be cut into 2 and not long enough for 4 so had a little wasted . not a bad replacement for the existing rubber though
