The book is good from a soldier point of view. However, the short history of Transylvania described in book is different. Or shortly the Romanian's role in the History of Transylvania is as described nearly 0, making Romanians to look like a minority when actually is the opposite. Is like the Normands now are claiming England as they conquered it long time ago and naming the English "minority" in England, or England claiming India as a British territory (lol) . A different mistake is talking about /showing Hungary as motherland for Transylvania when in fact the motherland of Transylvania is Dacia, the old Romania is you want. Again ignored, the history of Transylvania is starting not when the Hungarians/Saxons came in Europe conquering it 1000 years ago but 2000 years ago with the "Dacs" (not like a "small swarthy race" as described -?! racism?!) and even more than 2000 years ago, all over Transylvania/Romania you can see lots of archeological proofs that the territory was inhabited from long time ago. Yes, they founded Brașov, but on Romanian land with the Dacs/Romanians in chains ⛓ (here from you have the Romanian natural and aggressive attitude against Hungarians) . The Hungarian propaganda worked and is working even today.. Again the book is good from a soldier point of view, but a soldier is not a hystorian.. So not being so racist, even as Romanian and ignoring the "Foreword", I'm saying that the book is worth it.Read full review
