I used to do these with my friends and it was such fun, so when my daughter's 10th birthday party was on the horizon, I decided to get a few books so we could do some Mad Libs during the party. It was a big hit - I sent a few pages each home with them so their parents could see. For those who don't know, Mad Libs is a collection of texts with words missing. You are given a list of the types of words needed for filling in the missing words of the text: noun, adverb, animal, etc. Once you complete the list of words, you can then read the text using the words you've provided. The results are hysterical. It's great for getting kids thinking about what is a verb, what is a noun, what is the difference between adverb and adjective. It encourages creativity. And it keeps them entertained for hours.Read full review
