You have to sort of push / pull and guide the parts into place when you first set it up but that's it now it will never need to be set up again as it fits nicely into the very well padded and strong bag all ready made up. The scrims (they give you both black and white now so that's a great saving!) are extremely high quality - much better than my tripod scrims and unexpectedly the stand is mounted on small adjustable legs which will keep the scrims clean if the floors dirty. Professional DJ stand - you won't be disappointed - I'm hard to please and I AM IMPRESSED! Love it! Can't fault it. More expensive ones can't be better quality as doesn't get any better than this. P.s It's not to heavy either, It's replaced a folding facade and is supposed to weigh 3kg more but I can't tell much difference. Also the holes on the top mesh grill are more for carrying it than putting plugs through as I doubt you'd get a plug through but there's plenty of space at the back of the shelf to drop you're cables neat and tidily.Read full review

No problems with the padded bag and Lycra cloths but the frame itself was not easy to assemble as some of the locking hinges didn't line up with the parts they are supposed to without using brute Force. The main hinges are riveted to the frame and serval of the rivets on at least two of the hinges were loose/rattling. Once assembled looks good with the shelf and Lycra cloth in place and backed up by warranty as well.

def a improvement over the mk 1 version i owned for 3 years .with the new metal shelf unit . and the bag as been improved . with the first bag after a while the handles came away from the bag where it was sewn in the bag . on the mk 2 bag have sewn in patches to stop that happening. the frame work on the booth is same as the mk 1 .but for some reason not sure why they changed the top part with catches which you will have to put on the booth for the first time of use . which is a bit of pain to line up . where the mk 1 had pop rivet hinges all ready attached to the booth .in my opinion is a lot better .then fiddling about trying to put the top part together . from new .on my booth the metal shelf is just slightly out from the frame so you cant push the shelf together . you have to put the shelf on both side of the booth pull the shelf out slightly so it fits then tighten up screws under shelf . but overall a a improvement .but not a massive improvement . the steel shelf 's a massive improvement over the wooden ones .Read full review

I recently bought this to use in pubs and clubs that can’t provide a suitable “set up” to work from. I found that this is the perfect size to comfortably fit 2 turntables and a mixer deck alongside a pair of head phones and a microphone. The well fitting cover is enough to prohibit people from putting their drinks next to expensive electrical equipment. It is however quite cumbersome and heavy, but for me. Not a real issue. Better that than something flimsy and unstable. All in all, a very good, value for money purchase.

Although a little lighter in weight than the conventional 4ft stand still takes time to assemble and put scrim on the four top shields are quite fumbling on fixing to the bottom stand
