Bought these and the nut for my kit Tele and the results are amazing. Don't really know whether it's the nut or the string trees or perhaps a combination of the two that have done it but the second I plugged in I knew I'd done the right thing. A better (sweeter) tone is immediately noticeable and all of the issues with sitar twang gone. This kit guitar is now jockeying with my LP copy for the "go too practice guitar" position so I'm getting a tusq XXL nut for the LP copy to make it a fair contest as soon as I figure out which one will fit. Seem a bit expensive (especially the string trees) at first glance but I'm satisfied I did the right thing buying them and if I continue to feel this way about them Will always fit them from now on.

I had the usual cheap pinging Fender string on my strat, yea you can do other things like using some kind of lubricant but it's far easier to install the graptech tree and be done with the problem altogether...I'd not used one before and it works far better than expected and looks perfect, takes two minutes to get it sorted, perfect..!!

Easy to fit and they are a lot better than the metal string trees allowing strings to move more freely when bending. Guitar stays on tune more.

Excellent product and very easy to fit. Provides a very neat and simple upgrade over the standard string tree on a Mexican Strat.

It's amazing how much difference this small object can make to the tuning and the look of the guitar (and obviously the headstock). There's no more pinging off the old metal butterfly arrangement and the ease and stability of tuning seems to have greatly improved.
