BOUGHT THIS GAME FOR MY HUSBAND FOR HIS BIRTHDAY. HE ABSOLUTELY LOVES THIS GAME, AND CANT PUT IT DOWN. ITS GOT PLENTY OF CHOICE, AND IS VERY ADDICTIVE. WOULD RECOMMEND THIS GAME TO ANYONE
GUN was a Playstation 2 title and this it the PSP version. It is exactly the same. Which is a good thing. GUN was an under-rated title and one of the few Westerns available. This and Red Dead Revovler were the main ones really. The story in GUN is much better and I prefer the gameplay in this one. The story starts with your father, or at least who you think is your father, dying when your boat is attacked by rebel bandits. There is total carnage and you're left for dead. Thus begins your quest to seek revenge and the truth. The world that GUN is set in is quite small. There are only 5/6 main areas to ride your horse around in. There is no free roam. This is purely linear gameplay. There are a few side missions to bump up your horse and gun skills but not much. Your just playing this through to hear the story out. It's a good game and looks good graphically on the PSP. Controls are intuitive and easy to pick up. The horse can be abit of a nuisance especially if you need to get somewhere fast - but i've found that first set up the direction and then accelerate whilst being gentle with the analogue stick makes this manouevering simpler. It's a very entertaining game to play and i love how your health is restored when you neck back a shot of whisky.Read full review
