Great product. Brightens the wine . First time I've used them but won't be the last.

These filter papers are very, very dense and therefore very slow to let the wine through. I used these folded/creased in a funnel not in a Vinbrite Filter Kit. If you are using them to filter home-made fruit wines (which often have a lot of pulp residue in them) then it is advisable to filter the wine through kitchen towel first to remove the excess residue. Even then they are very slow to filter. 15cm (6inch) diameter is a good size for using in an average kitchen funnel.

Many years since my winemaking days but the beautifully blue sloe crop in the woods behind us was just begging to be picked and introduced to gin. So I had to get back in harness to rack off a demijohn of sloe gin into bottles and the result from these wine filters was clear for all to see - In fact,- Brilliant
