I like this because it goes sticky very quickly so will hold the fabric together. Glue on the wrong places can be wiped off with a damp cloth if done fairly quickly, or when it gets a bit drier if can be rubbed off and rolled into a sticky ball. It does dry invisibly fairly soon. That is pretty permanent. I have washed items using it, but not frequently and not a hard wash. Normally I have stitched the fabric together as well as glued it, as I make a lot of children's toys which need to be very secure.

I wanted to glue some foam to a t-shirt, left it for several days and it was stuck fast so I tried washing it and about half of it came unstuck. Does dry clear though.

Always works well. I use it for one off collages and keepsakes where sewing or embroidery won't work and it never let's me down.
