Excellent camera
I was a bit concerned at some reviews I read for this product, but needn't have worried. The camera is very wel made and gives an excellent picture over the internet. Set-up was very straightforward and presented no problems. I have accessed the camera using wifi and also 4g, with no noticable reduction in quality. This is the older camera which isn't integrated with the other Hive products. The new camera is integrated, but is at least £40 more expensive. I am using the camera with the Hive sensors and overall I am very pleased with the sensitivity of the system and the recording ability of the camera. Recommended.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Disappointing ... quite a few bugs
Eventually got this working ok, but it is not without it's faults First of all you need a good quality WiFi signal or you can spend ages trying to set the camera up and it keeps crashing .... I had to upgrade to a new supplier and router The Hive camera uses a separate dedicated app, which means you can't integrate it with your other Hive products or control them all from one single app - frustrating Since getting it working on the new WiFi and selecting Autologin on the app, it has lost the details twice and I have had to reinstall the camera - I was away from home at the time so couldn't do this as it needed physically resetting There is an option to speak "live messages" through the camera , and it seems to work, but whenever I have tried to do this the app freezes and I have to relaunch Finally I don't think you can delete images and videos directly from the app - you have to remove the SD card and delete them when connected to your PCVerified purchase: YesCondition: New
