I bought it as a xmas present for my son, as he wants to collect all the series. Its not my sort of thing & i know nothing about it so cant comment on it i'm afraid.
Well what can i say about this programme, very funny from start to finish. Tim Allen plays Tim ( the tool man ) Taylor a very funny person with all his cappers he gets up to, and his poor wife Jill and the three kids Brad, Randy and poor little Mark have all got to put up with him, and not forgetting good neighbour to them Wilson. This has to be one of the best American comedys ever. Just a pity they stopped making it.
i have always liked watching it on tv got series 2 bought me at xmas so decided to buy the 1st & 3rd series also not dissapointed with any great fun to watch
Tim Allen always gives "More Power" in his performancves, and the writing is consistently excellent, with the always helpful and knowledgable neighbour Wilson whom you never see more than a hat and eyes of, Tim's long suffering wife Gill and their 3 sons Brad, Randy and Mark always provede a good counterpoint to Tim, as does his "Tool-Time" DIY expert Al Borland. One point of note with this sseason is that the Binford Tools "Tool-Time" girl is none other than Pamela Anderson, long before Baywatch catapaulted her into the view of a much larger audience (sad but true, good comedy never gets the viewing figures that average drama with lightly clothed and attractive actors/actresses in ...)
