This must be one of the easiest engines to use. The centrifugal clutch along with the twist grip throttle means one handed operation. It is very easy to bring a boat alongside a pontoon etc lovely slow tickover. I have just bought this engine but I owned the 2hp Honda for 16 years so I know they last well. I get 2.5 hours running at just under 1/2 throttle from a full tank. I bought my engine from Pacer Marine who had prepared it to a high standard.

I had the best buying experience from Anton, a lovely honourable gentleman who was polite, extremely flexible, tested the engine, gave me a lesson, even helped carry the engine to my car and recommended places to visit in Portsmouth, what else can one wish for. Thank you so much

Cheap, lightweight and starts first pull. EVERY time. Air cooled so no impeller issues. Can carry it with one hand. But it will push my 19ft ski boat (which is over 2 tons) with full load aboard at 4 Knots on half throttle. Used many times but built in fuel tank still not empty.

Four stroke, air cooled, good fuel economy, twist’n’go throttle (in “neutral” at tick-over), light weight, self-latching lock-up in raised position - excellent for a small tender, dinghy, small keelboat, etc... what’s not to like
