The hose is flexible but strong, The reel operates smoothly most of the time but when winding the hose back it can be hard work. The hose attachment came off sending the hose itself inside the cowling. It was a hard job getting it out again. The instructions tell you to check the attachment's connection frequently. The hose does kink occasionally when used to its full extent.
