I used the Hyperx Cloud II before, tried the Hyperx Revolver S wich i didn't like and then I went for Sennheiser Game Zero wich i liked a lot. Now I got a pair of Hyperx Alpha and its beautiful ! For me, this is one is the best as I don't need 7.1 in gaming. My short Hyperx Alpha thoughts: -Loud and clear stereo sound makes it easy to spot in-game enemies and enjoy clear audio. -Extremely good noise-cancelling detachable microphone -Comfy earpads for long hours gaming/movies/music sessions. I also use them to listen music and watch movies. I can only say the bass its just perfect and while at maximum volume, they still sound perfectly clear.

For such a low price these headphones deliver on every promise they made completely. They are amazing for both games and music. Mic sounds great and they feel premium and sturdy. One thing though, they don’t fit bigger heads perfectly. While they do stretch as desired, the metal and the plastic braces feel under a lot of stress when put on a big head like mine. So I am not sure how long it will hold under soo much stress.

Headphones are extremely good for counter strike, I had no problems switching from a 7.1 pair to this stereo pair. Very comfortable, very leightweight, only issue is the price! Most retailers will sell these around £80-£100 whereas these were listed at £120, so more expensive than competitors, but still a purchase worth making!
