Bought this machine for a big job clearing a lot off bramble and overgrown grass on the edge off a 10 acre field. Was not sure to go for a two or four stroke machine but in the end opted for the four stroke because of the experience with a small 2hp outboard motor which always was very reliable, economic, and quiet. Other sailing friends had the opposite experience with their two stroke. The first use was with the brush cutter attachment clearing lots off bramble, where it performed well with the small engine coping fine with the work. The three sided blade is not off the best quality and I might buy a better one in the future. Operating was easy hanging on the supplied harness. The motor running smoothly with acceptable level off vibration operating with bare hands. ( gloves would have been advisable) Noice levels were acceptable with ear protectors worn. Starting was no problem. A slightly larger fuel tank would have been nice to increase time between refuelling. The strimmer attachment worked well but was tested to its limit with the extremely long grass which had not been cut several years. The small motor did well considering this while the job in hand probably demanded a more powerful motor. Overall I was quit impressed with the performance of such a small and light machine. The coupling half way on the shaft could be sturdier, like the cast alu on its bigger brothers. But it is a excellent value for money machine considering what you have to pay for a premium brand. Loved the four stroke motor, so much nicer to work with, quieter, no smelly fumes, no problems with oily spark plugs, no contest! Probably should have gone with the bigger engine for the job but all in all pleased with the purchase.Read full review
