This is an excellent book for teaching introductory chemistry and physics courses. It is helpful to discuss how the atomic theory evolved, with emphasis on the experimental development from a historical perspective. The book also contains simple mathematical derivations that could be readily presented in the classroom to show how Physics models explain the phenomena that we observe. The description of classical experiments that led to the atomic model and to quantum theory are presented in a hilarious way and illustrated with cartoons which make this book very entertaining as well. I would definitely recommend this book to science students.
