Great rim-lock and even better quality knobs; those Victorians knew how to make door furniture. My 50mm knob fits perfectly in my hand and replaces a smaller one, which was only 30mm. With me now able to get a really strong grip on it, I was bit worried it might come off if I pulled it too hard, but no problems so far. I'm ordering another for the other kitchen door, and I'll probably get a third for the bathroom, but that's still in the planning stage. Highly recommended

Comes in bits. You have to know how to construct a rim lock. Which I do, luckilly. No instructions. Poor quality. Tapped hole for the rear plates thread was non existant. The two holes on the latch side should be machined for countersunk screws and they wern't. Evidently a cheap modern repro of traditional locks. I have some that are nearly 100 years old and are still fine. Will be lucky if this lasts 10% of that time.

This is a fantastic item, it looks great. As a DIY novice it would have been helpful to have some guidance or a link to a video showing how it fit it (as there are no instructions in the box), but that is a reflection on my own lack of skills and not on the product. I would definitely buy again. πππ

Seems really well made, not a cheap Chinese knock off. I have a few other modern repros in the house but this one is just a bit more refined

this is a really good piece of kit. I wanted to replace an early 20th Century lock on a bathroom, and not have a key, which has caused our kids to get stuck before. This looks the part - very traditional, but has a sliding lock, which will work much better. The handles feel like solid brass. All in all |m really pleased with this lock
