Light, simple, effective without causing marking or bruising to the neck. Also brilliant for (carefully) lifting reluctant bridge-pins! Unlike many "mechanical" capos this does not require fiddly adjustment for neck position and does not add weight to the instrument's "head end", affecting playing comfort. They can be subject to wear of the lever after long and frequent use but this is trifling, given the small cost of replacement.
