So far I've only found one page where pencil was used to underline and write. The ribbon was honestly put there. The cover is a little bit faded but still very beautiful. Letter type might be an 8 emerald. It's not the biggest but it's very readable. Even though I could not see the content, this option was 10 pounds cheaper so I went for it. Good job!

Excellent quality bible with proper thin gold edged paper used. Only minor issue was with the outer coloured cardboard sleeve which was not 100% perfect, however situation was resolved to our satisfaction perfectly.

This may be one of Cambridge's basic text bibles, but it is also one of its best. Bound in French morocco leather (ususally in black but also less commonly, in burgundy), with sewn signatures, headbands, single gilt edges, a single register, bible paper, black type throughout, and double cased. The page layout is traditional, namely double column, numbered verses, with paragraphs indicated by a pilcrow. The outer case has a watercolour of King's College Cambridge. This version was bound and printed in Great Britain during the 1990s. Since June 2012 Cambridge has had their leather bibles bound abroad. The lower cost editions in Belarus or Italy, the more luxurious bindings in the Netherlands by Royal Jongblod. The decisive feature of this publication however, is the choice of print: Old Antique No.3 (8 point), a typeface which gives an easily read and authoritative text to engage with. This type has a presence and warmth on the page so often lacking in thinner more modern typefaces. Extras are basic and comprise the Epistle Dedicatory, a Bible Word List (to assist in the changes in vocabulary since 1611), and a two-year reading plan. This is describes as the Emerald Text, if you are looking around be aware that cambridge's 'Standard Text' is the same. The contemporary iteration is pound and printed abroad and comes in a clamshell box rather than the more useful double slipcase. The advantage of the latter is that it is safe to store the book upright. Clamboxed bibles are best stored vertically. Overall this is an excellent bible. The modern version still represents super value for a leather bound bible.Read full review

This Bible is the true living perfect word of God no other modern version is, they are all corrupt. The King James Bible is the only perfect word of God and is a supernatural book, this edition is great because it has no footnotes, no references or anything to interfere with the text; just the plain unadulterated words of God. Praise the Lord!
