So far it has performed as advert. Still getting used to range of uses. Very pleased so far.

I bought this machine to replace my ancient Kenwood food processor, which finally gave up. As this one was 800watts (my old one was 500w) I imagined it would be more powerful, but it really is not nearly as good. Its so hard to open and close - at first I thought it was faulty but no, its just the design which makes opening it really hard. Also it has hardly any attachments - so I cant use my favourite cutting disc anymore. Not impressed at all. Gave it two stars as it looks nice and is easy to clean.

A good solid base that feels sturdy. The blender bowl/jug is solid too and is a decent size. At first several uses, the slotting mechanism for jug to base was very stiff. This became easier after a few uses. Pretty much excactly as is advertised for the product is true. However, we are on use 30. I noticed liquid leaking out from the attachment mechanism. The blender jug seal at the base is seeping slightly. I think it's sturdy overall and fits together well. But from a failure point of view, it gets minus points as we'll need to use the guarantee.

I found great difficulty locking the lid of the processor. It was very stiff and only with a great deal of effort (and faith) was this eventually achieved. Once working it was very good, have not yet used the blender,so hoping this is less problematic
