Burrs remaining from the manufacturing process were left protruding from the the inside of the bowl. Not only were these sharp, but they formed little dams that prevented the bowl from draining fully. The bowl could be a little larger. It was easy to bend the handle more vertically to facilitate removing olives from a jar; which is what I purchased this for.
