I carried a very heavy bag of DSLR gear around a couple of big events last year...WHY?This camera gives a huge zoom range,a mass of functions and settings to match most mid-range SLR cameras, all in a fairly compact bridge camera. This machine has surprised me with it's capabilities, rendering good, clear, punchy images across various scenarios and some quite challenging conditions.Downsides are a slightly jerky zoom at the limits of the range and I'd have loved a manual focus ring on the lens....but for under £200 this is a stunning piece of kit.It won't suit everyone but if you think it might work for you then I strongly suggest you give it a try.I did and my shoulder is nearly better thank you.
The Easyshare Max Z990 doesn't disappoint. It is the fifth Kadak camera I've owned. I was saddened to hear that the company were on the verge of bankruptcy and were getting out of the camera business. I decided there and then that I had to upgrade from my Z812 to this model while they were still available. In the event I found one in mint condition on eBay, which I was able to buy at a very reasonable price. I was very happy with my previous Kodak, but this model really does tick all the boxes. The wide range of features and, especially, the super 30X zoom lens make it hard to take a bad shot. I suppose my only slight gripes are that it isn't compatible with the old EasyShare software and it would be nice to have a 'wildlife' setting in 'scene' mode.
Speedy send out... excellent communications... thank you so much my daughter is going to love it!!
Verified purchase: Yes | Condition: New
it's a good camera, interesting for his high-zoom lens, average image quality, I bought it as a small gift to my sister, just using it passes everywhere without being noticed, the design is as everyone's taste, as a second camera to city walk
Picture quality is pretty good, has all the basic features you'd expect. Response is a bit slow but for £130, you cannot complain.
