This box comes in at the bottom end of rhythm machines. It has a bunch of presets which perform as expected. There are 8-beat, 16-beat, rock, metal, pop, jazz, Latin and other rhythms to choose from. You can adjust the tempo and volume. However, it claims to have a programmable section which no one has yet worked out how to operate. The instructions are bafflingly useless, and if you look on YouTube you will find many comments similar to this. The leaflet also says you can change the pad sounds and make recordings. But again, how to do this is not clearly explained. If you're just after something cheap to provide a beat in the background, this will probably fit the bill. But the low sound quality make it unsuitable for gigging or home recording.

I teach people to play ukulele and one of the things people tend to do is pick up speed and I find this product very helpful to enable them to keep an even beat and time. Very very useful.
