key tracks... confide in me surrender put yourself in my place dangerous game anticipation was high for kylie, from fans and critics alike, for her fist album away from the comfort zone of stock/aitken/waterman. working with the cream of dance producers including m people, brothers in rhythm and the rapino brothers, kylie certainly had a good head start. 'confide in me' opens the album, and remains one of kylie's best songs to date. everyone was astounded at the strength and range of kylie's voice, and it soars in this epic dance track. next up is 'surrender' a cool and soulful song which really should have been released as a single. the gorgeous and under-rated 'put yourself in my place' and 'dangerous game' add a gentle balance to the dance numbers, and are two of the best ballads she has ever made. and the album ends on a high with a cover of the old nothern soul track 'time will pass you by'.the bonus cd features some cracking remixes, as well as the japenese track 'love is waiting' and 'confide in me' sang in french. there are a couple of tracks that dont really impress, especially the pet shop boys track 'falling'. but all in all a great start for the new era of kylie minogue!!Read full review
