After using plastic tubular poles to remove cobwebs from the eaves of our lounge in our converted barn and found they sway all over the place - this is a great tool for removing cobwebs and isn't over heavy either. Multipurpose for painting the ceiling in the bar too when needed! A good investment!

I have a very high gable end wall (36ft) which needs to be painted once every 5-10 years. The cost for scaffolding would have been £600 while the cost for a 5m extendable pole was £20. It proved to be the right decision. The pole was very strong and also very light, so it was quite manageable. My only observation is it really needed to be 8m long to reach to the very top of my wall, so I had to tie wrap a 3m Harris extension pole to the end of it for the roller to reach. If Harris could make a 8m extension pole then even better! So l would certainly recommend this product for those high and less accessible places.

I didn't expect a pole of of this length to be sturdy at all all, but I can put significant pressure on it without it bowing too much. But as always - everything is relative. Worked for me. Might or might not work for you.

Excellent for doing work on high. Just be aware that the screw head is slightly smaller than previous harris poles so you can't attach things as tightly as before - my gutter cleaner came off high up on the roof and I had to improvise getting it down.

I purchase these poles on a regular basis recently the quality of the poles doesn't seem to be as good as before 1 of them bent the other keeps coming apart at the join. I used to buy them in b&q but they no longer stock them I wonder is this because the quality isn't as good.
