Moral - do stall test on old motors to determine current consumption. Just bought Digitrax DH126D which claims to be good for 1.5 amps: we'll see.

This an excellent value decoder that is at least on a par with decoders costing twice (or more) as much as other decoders. Contrary to a previous review these decoders are suitable for N gauge. I’ve used them in my new Dapol Class 50s. Once you take off the, unnecessary, insulation they’re exactly the same size as other Next 18 decoders.
