Author Biography
Joseph Beaulieu was a legendary folklorist and songwriter. More than 200 of his compositions and arrangements were published in the 1940s in Les Cahiers de La Bonne Chanson, and many of his folk songs were selected for inclusion in the school songbook Mon ecole chante. Stephane Jorisch is a four-time winner of the Governor General's Literary Award, the Ruth-Schwartz Children's Book Award, and the Amelia Frances Howard-Gibbon Illustrator's Award. He is the illustrator of Sunday in Kyoto and A Treasure in My Garden and has also created set designs for Cirque du Soleil. He lives in Montreal, Quebec.
