Excellent edition of this marvelous Chet Baker documentary. This is an insightful look into this charismatic jazz musician's life, interspersed with archive footage as well as film segments from the last year of his life. A wonderfully shot film, and including a photo booklet, too.

This is one of the best jazz documentaries ever. Bruce Weber, a wonderful photographer has shown Chet Baker in all his glory and shame. A tale of glee and despair, starting with the beauty of Chet Baker and ending with the ugliness of drug addiction. The music is all there including his unique voice.
About the Movie: Probably the best documentary about a musician and his incredible life. Of course is better if you like Chet Baker and the trumpet instrument. Quality od this DVD: 1)the aspect ratio is 4:3 and not 16:9 as described; 2)the quality of the video is poor in many parts, the audio is quite good; 3)the extras don't have any sense. Overall good but is a pity about those defects. bye
