I had been looking for a particular type of wire wool. Could not be sure with any of the local DIY shops products, but when I read on line this products rating of '0000' I made my mind up. I had been advised to clean my new car's windscreen with only this type of product, the glass had been contaminated. My windscreen wipers were appalling, smearing, and noisy beyond belief. What a difference this has made, to say I am delighted is an understatement.

We purchased the pads to apply wax to some wooden furniture. It seems better than a cloth, the wax penetrates the wood rather than the fabric and the wire wool does not shear or leave any fibres. The pads seem a good idea since you do not have to cut a length of the wool though you can buy Liberon wire wool by the meter which may be slightly more economical. The pads are however reusable if repeating the process.
