Set up a Harmony Elite and stop juggling remotes
In line with the older style Harmony Universal Remotes the Elite is exactly what it claims to be. It is easy to setup and configure. The hub and remote work seamlessly via bluetooth so no more aiming the remote and having to avoid the dog, wife and/or kids. The IOS and Android apps work well if you're ever in the position that you can't reach the remote but can reach your phone or the remote has been confiscated. Being able to press one button on the touch screen and have all the correct AV equipment turned on and setup for the function you select is a god send for the technologically challenged and anyone who just wants a system that works. Instructions are clear and concise so once you have collected the hardware brands and models you wish to control the configuration is stored by Logitech so you can access it later if you ever have problems. Great idea but a little frustrating
I purchased this remote about a month ago and is yet to be used as my universal remote. Because once I thought I'd programmed it, it would do things not programmed and the simple task of turning on my TV to hdmi 1, turn on fetch TV box and sound bar worked at first but then would go all out of whack and do things it shouldn't be doing like changing the TV from hdmi 1 to TV built in tuner or av input. So has been frustrating. I will need more time to sort this out and hope it can be programmed without any issues. Otherwise it's a great idea how it is set up through your mobile phone app which then programs the remote. The Puck also updates over WiFi so nice to see that firmware is being updated. All in all a great concept and given more time I'm sure it'll be awesome.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Much improved on Harmony One+ but smaller buttons and different placement of fast forward, skip enter and arrow buttons hard to adjust to. I love it my wife hates it because she often touches the screen when picking it up, I might need to adjust the touch sensitivity down. One of the better programmable remotes available to end users.
There are so few, true programmable remotes available. Of those few, far too many are either terribly designed and horribly complex to program; or are tied into some proprietary system that requires someone else to customise it for you, at some ridiculous cost. Logitech is one of the few that aims to deliver a decent remote to the end user. It isn't as flexible as it could be, and they have odd limitations that have no purpose other than to limit the use of the remote. Harmony Elite is good, could be better
This is my 6th Logitech harmony remote. It has more smart home capability and can be used with my PlayStation, but the button layout is not as natural as my last remote.
