Been using these pedals for years, I do about 100 miles a week commuting and they last about 8 months before the bearings start to make some noise. They are easy to take apart and clean out and re-grease but I find I can never get them adjusted back perfectly. They are either too tight so don't spin freely like when new or slightly too loose and you get a little bit of play and usually a bit of noise when cycling. If you do service the bearings yourself don't tighten the lock nut down too much, I have in the past damaged the nut over torquing and then the threads get damaged and you can no longer tighten it. The bearings are tiny and fiddly to work with and usually I just buy another pair of them because it's easier. They are pretty light as well.

Really pretty pedal set, would suit any rebuild that requires quill pedals. Very smooth action under foot. Would recommend these pedals AND the supplier for quick delivery. Many thanks.
