Good quality. Good Price. The cats love it! Sadly, the silver film for heat protection is very thin and very noisy. But the cats love it! Size is good too and has a zip to put it for washing.

This is the most awful quality tat I've ever purchased. Before I opened the box, I actually thought it was empty as the mat was so lightweight. If I'd seen this for sale in a pound shop, I doubt whether I would have bought it - let alone pay £6.95 for it!!! Having said this, my cat loves it! She's hardly moved off of the mat since I bought it. That is until it slides off the sofa when she jumps down - the non-slip backing definitely doesn't work. She gets very distressed if this happens at night, and there's no one around to pick it up for her, as she can't get nice and warm again, as it does reflect the heat really well. It also doesn't lie very flat. The 'foil' inside keeps moving, and I'm forever having to straighten it out. The mat does make quite a loud rustling noise, which may bother some cats, but this hasn't been an issue, as mine has always loved sitting on carrier bags (???). I haven't washed the cover yet, but I doubt it will last long, as it's so flimsy. Also I'm sure the reflective piece of 'foil' inside will break down quite quickly, as there's just nothing to it. I'm going to buy a better quality all in one self heating mat - no removable cover - and this one will be consigned to her basket. It just looks so awful on the sofa. It is a good size, big enough for cats/small dogs to lie on. It feels a bit thin and very light weight but when I place my hand on it, I can feel the heat instantly like magic. The insulating core seems very effective. The top fleece is in good quality. Good full length zip on one side with discreet small puller. I personally hate the nylon backing which has horrible jellyfish-like texture and I nearly sent it back for that reason. But as far as my cat is concerned, he instantly loved it so that's what matters! It arrived quickly and came in the manufacturer's packaging so it would make a great present too. All of this for less than six quid….a bargain! Would definitely recommend.

This does what it says on the tin the only thing I would say is it makes a crunching noise when moved such as when a cat sits on it and this can put them off I am putting it in their favourite places to try and get them used to it
