I've used the drill at work & it's great, plenty of power but very smooth delivery. Also not to noisy. An excellent purchase.

My DeWalt mains SDS suddenly gave up the ghost after years of service. I temporarily used my son’s battery SDS for the job I was undertaking for him and found it so convenient and seems to be just as powerful as the mains machine, so I bought one for myself, an early Christmas present from me to me.

I used to manage a business and all the tradespeople had Makita kit and it never let them down. Now retired and doing more DIY and projects, I have been buying more kit and generally Makita. I bought the SDS drill for n upcoming project to breakout a cavity wall to make access to a garage which will become a home office. Very confident that the Makita SDS drill will be more than capable for the task.

Makita top quality and well built for site use and one of the best cordless SDS drills I have used. The hammer action is equal to the 110v model. I managed to drill approx. 50 No. 6mm diameter X 45mm deep holes on 1 battery (3Ah ) Can not find any bad points about this item.
