Absolutely love this beast of an extractor. Replaced a 100m3 extractor that was just not up to extracting steam from a power shower, in a small bathroom. This new extractor doesn’t give the steam a chance to escape the enclosure now - it all goes up the pipe. Steam free mirror every time! Easy to install, but needs room (it was twice the size of my old fan). The design is very adaptable in that the main unit can be rotated in its support frame to suit your space.

The run on timer adjustment was very sensitive, tiny adjustments gave large time changes 5mins to 30mins approx 1/8 turn total and some adjustments had no effect, I thought unit was faulty until I found that disconnecting all power between adjustments was necessary, (not in set up instructions) then very tiny adjustments still overshot or undershot the desired run on time . Patience is required it took all afternoon climbing up and down to the loft space to set 10mins. Seems stable after a week of use, main bathroom.

I installed this bathroom extractor fan in the loft. It was very easy to wire in although a little fiddly. I mounted it on an insulated base which has eliminated all noise from inside the bathroom. This is the third fan of this type we have installed over a 15 year period but this might be down to it being a rental property where the vents were obstructed with dirt and the ducting Itself was very furred up. I would definitely recommend this product. It arrived within the time period specified and was the best price I could find.

Compared to the old silavent unit that was in our bathroom, which was about as effective as an asthmatic with a straw (and broke after 3 years anyway), this unit is brilliant. 3 speed settings and a variable timer. Also, it’s pretty quiet, with the main noise associated to the volume of air flow that it draws. The room clears quickly of steam now, so there is less condensation so there will be less mould. Happy days!

Good fan and more effective at extracting shower mist than previous fans. It’s larger than I expected but easily fitted in the loft. It requires a 3 amp fused double pole spur switch which might confuse a few DIYers particularly the timer version which has 2 live supplies. Might be worth googling how other people have dealt with this. The existing fan just wired directly into the 5amp lighting circuit.
